OnBux Down Forever?
Yes, OnBux is down for quite some time already and one could only wonder - was it intentionally done? Was the hard-clicked money earned by their users too lucrative to be taken (scammed) so that they purposely close down the site?

As of update on 9 April 2011: If you're on NeoBux and remains at an ordinary account, you'll only earn $0.001 per click! That's 1/10 of the previous earning, which was $0.01. The change was made quite recently.
That really sucks and therefore, head on to OnBux, which will still earn you $0.01/click!
Here's the Math of cashing out your first $2.00 with both NeoBux and OnBux:
NeoBux: $0.004 (4 clicks/day) x 500 days (1 year plus!) = $2.00
OnBux: $0.04 (4 clicks/days) x 50 days = $2.00
Therefore you can't earn fast with NeoBux, and as a result - it takes longer (1 year plus?!) to cash out your earning from NeoBux.

How to earn money with Neobux?
Now to view advertisements on Neobux?
This is a basic and simple guide on how to earn money online with Neobux.
1) Firstly, you need an account at Neobux. Register an account and log in.
Enter your username, password, secondary password (optional, depends on your registration) and verification code. Click "send".
2) Once inside your account, look at the top of the website.
If advertisements are available, there will be a green box with a number (indicating the number of ads available, normally 4) beside "View Advertisements". Click on it.
3) After that, you'll see boxes that represents each available advertisement.
A yellow star below the box indicates that it's not clicked for the day yet. A gray star indicates that the advertisement was already clicked. It refreshes daily, so it's advisable to log in daily to view the ads.
To view a particular advertisement, click on the box.
4) Then, click on the red dot that appears at random locations within the box.
It's usually a red dot, but since it's Christmas when this screen shot is made - Neobux changed the red dot to a Christmas ornaments. Still works the same.
This method is obviously to prevent bots and requires a human interaction.
5) After clicking on the red dot, a new page will appear on the browser. That's where the advertisement website loads.
The loading of each advertisement will take about 30 seconds or more, depending on content of the website.
Wait for the progress bar to be covered with yellow. While waiting, do not view other advertisements. It's supposed to be viewed one by one.
6) After the progress bar is completed, you'll see an advertisement validation.
It will appear over the progress bar previously and it indicates that the advertisement click is successful. Good job and you have $0.01 credited into your account.
Continue with clicking on the rest of the advertisements available. Remember to view every single advertisements every day to earn the maximum money for basic steps.
7) You may view your daily earning chart at your account information section. Just click on your username at the top of the website.
From this chart, you can view your activeness by checking the number of clicks you've made in the recent days. A day without advertisement views can be a waste.
8) Click on your Neobux advertisements daily and once you've reached the minimum cash out amount, you can transfer the money to AlertPay, PayPal or NETELLER.
Click on "your payment" above the chart and proceed by following the instructions.

Allocation of Nuffnang Advertisements
What is the allocation of Nuffnang ads on your blog? How does the advertisement allocation work?
Here's how. Brief explanation by Nuffnang crew - Robb.
Allocations for Nuffnang ads are counted based on the number of impressions or clicks the advertiser purchase divided by the number of days the advertiser intends to run the campaign. Take for an example, an advertiser purchases 700 ad impressions on your blog for a week's period. That means, it will be divided into 7 days and each day the ad will only be served to the first 100 visitors to your blog.
As each day begins anew at 12.00am, the ads will start showing from that time till the allocation of 100 impressions are used up for that day. That's why at times, ads don't show anymore once it reaches the late evening due to the fact that the impressions purchased for the day has all been used up.
If anyone doesn't understand anything, it's totally fine. You are free to ask Nuffnang about their services and they'll be glad to assist with their helpdesk system. :)

Metered Campaigns VS CPC Campaigns
Many are unsure about the differences between a Metered Campaign and a CPC Campaign. Here are the explanation.
Metered Campaigns
Metered campaigns are ads that are paid based directly on the number of unique visits a Nuffnang user contribute to the campaign.
A Nuffnang blog can be assigned more than one metered ad at the same time in the same slot, but the owner will not receive notifications about these assignments (because of the potential volume, and because the campaign duration may not be fixed).
Earnings for metered campaigns are also handled differently because metered campaigns usually last longer than normal paid ads. It might take a while before Nuffnang credits the earnings to the account. In the meantime, Nuffnang users can see the running total that he/she has earned for that campaign so far as "Buffered Earnings".
Also, Nuffnang is giving out CTR Bonus to reward blogs for good campaign performance. Nuffnang will give out bonus earnings for blogs that achieve a CTR (Click-through ratio) of 0.2% or higher on new campaigns that run on a blog. This figure is based on average industry standards.
With metered campaigns, Nuffnang hopes to achieve the following:
CPC (Cost-per-Click) Campaigns
Earnings for a CPC campaign are calculated based on the number of clicks a particular Ad Unit had in the past week. Usually it's 25cents per click for Glitterati members and 15cents per click for non-Glitterati members.
However, multiple clicks from the same computer with the same IP address & Mac Address will be considered as spam and as a result, the earnings will be reduced/removed. A warning will be issued by Nuffnang personnel too.
