Here are some well-known traffic trackers that you can use for your blog, just to see how your blog's traffic is doing.

1) Google Analytics

I found Sitemeter to be horrifyingly slow to load when I went to check my stats, and was not only annooyed with waiting but concerned about what effect that might have on a viewers load time. I'm not gonna sit around and wait for all of your java script to load.
Also I tried google analytics and found that once they had access to all the numbers they (the algorithym} that my site was all seo and smalltime for traffic, I dropped down from page 1 to um, like 675 or something. I've been using free statcounter for a couple of years and it works really awesome, and the stats are almost as complete as analytics. Just My Opinion

Google analytic is a great tool to track the traffic of your website. So far I haven't use any other tools.
