Here's how.
First, go to Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML. Then, just insert this code below <head> tag.
<meta content='5;http://www.web.com' http-equiv='Refresh'/> |
To change the refresh time, change 5 to another number. It represents the seconds needed to redirect/refresh the page to another website/page/domain. Putting 0 means immediate refresh and the viewer won't be able to see the landing website/page/domain.
To set the target website/page/domain, change www.web.com to your desired target website/page/domain.
After that, Save Template and it's ready to redirect/refresh!
It's suitable for redirecting your Blogspot/Blogger blog to your own (new) domain hosted by a web host or you simply want to auto-redirect an old blog post to a new blog post.

Seems this doesn't work for all browsers...?? Didn't work for ie. Still, nice trick. Thanks for turning me on to this.
Thanks! Great tip as usual :-) Worked in firefox and and the android browser. Hopefully this'll get more people directed to my wordpress site.

THANKYOU!
Hi. Can I know how to redirect all my old blogspot URL to my new domain?
Thank you very much :)
@Malaysia Group Sales:
This code would work. But if you want each individual post to be redirected to the specific post on the new domain, it's a little tricky.
i changed my domain name on the same blog on blogspot....now how can i redirect the old folloers to my new domain?
*followers
I'm afraid changing domain can't redirect the Google Connect followers as they have already "followed" the previous domain.
